Using Shopify Flow with Bronto

Bronto has created a Add Customer to Bronto List Action node to work with Shopify Flow.

About this task

To use the Add Customer to Bronto List Action node, you need to have identified or created a list to use in Shopify Flow. We recommend that you create a list that is used soley for each workflow that you create in Shopify. See the documentation for more information on how to create a list.

You need to know the API ID of the list you are going to use in Shopify Flow. To find the API ID:
  1. Go to the All Lists page.
  2. Find the list you want to use and click on the name.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the list page. The list API ID is on the right.

To use the node in Shopify Flow:

Procedure

  1. Create your flow in Shopify.
  2. In Shopify, click Add Action.
  3. Find the Add Customer to Bronto List node from the Action list and click it to add it to the flow.
  4. Make sure the Email field will be dynamically populated by the workflow. See Shopify's documentation for more information on how to set up your workflow for this.
  5. For Bronto List API ID, add the API ID of the list you want to use.
When this workflow is triggered, contacts will be added to the list you have specified. If the contact does not exist in Bronto, it will be added as a transactional contact and added to the list. Being added to the list does not affect a contact's status. Only opted-in contacts on the list are eligible to receive messages.
