Use The Workflow Activity Filter Node In Workflows

The Workflow Activity filter node filters contacts based on if a contact is on a workflow, has completed a workflow, or how many times a contact has completed a workflow.

Workflow Activity Filter Node

To use the Workflow Activity filter node:


  1. Create a new workflow or edit an existing workflow.
    To create a new workflow, go to Automation > Workflows and click Create New Workflow.
    Note: If you created a new workflow, make sure you name it by clicking the pencil icon above the Node Palette.
  2. Drag the Workflow Activity filter node on to the workflow canvas.
  3. Click the following text in the Workflow Activity filter node: is currently on.
  4. In the pop-up window, select the scenario you want to filter for.
    • is currently on
    • has completed
    • has completed at least
    • has completed at most
    • has never been on
  5. Click Done.
  6. Click a workflow in the Workflow Activity filter node.
  7. From the popup window, choose the workflow you want to use in your filter.
  8. Click Select.
  9. Optional: If you want to limit your filter to a time range, click the following text in the Workflow Activity filter node: value.
    1. Select Days or Months to set the time increment for your filter.
    2. Click Done.
    3. Check the box to check for new contacts added to the selected workflow in the time range you specified.
