Order Attribution

Order attribution is the process that the Bronto Marketing Platform uses to calculate conversions.

Conversions represent contacts who have both engaged with a message delivery (opened or clicked messages) and made a purchase within the time frame set in the Bronto Order Settings. Conversion data in Bronto reports help you understand how well your marketing campaigns are driving your customers to make purchases. You can also use conversion data to help build segments and create workflows.

Bronto currently offers two order attribution models: enhanced and legacy. You can learn how each model calculates conversions in the respective topic. Turning on the enhanced model does not affect legacy conversions.
Note: All accounts will be migrated to the enhanced model in the first half of 2020. If your account is already using the enhanced model, you can view the Conversions Over Time chart in the Email Performance, Message, and Delivery Reports.
