NetSuite Connector Auto Configuration

Follow these steps to use auto configuration when setting up your NetSuite Connector.

About this task

You have the option of configuring your NetSuite Connector integration manually or automatically. When auto configuration is selected, Bronto will assign field mappings from NetSuite to Bronto, create new fields in Bronto, and assign settings based on industry best practices. This will happen for all contact field types (contacts, leads, prospects, and customers). You will have the option of deleting any auto configured mapping, settings, or newly created field.

If manual configuration is selected, you must create any new fields and build all mappings between NetSuite and Bronto. You will also need to configure Connector settings.

When you select auto configuration, the following will be configured:

Contact fields for all contact types (Contacts, Leads, Prospects, and Customers)
The customer contact type will be set as the default contact type for import
Sync direction
Opt-in settings for Global Subscription Status
Order fields for Sales Orders, Cash Sales, and Invoices
Sales Orders will be enabled and set as the default order type

Some components, including Integrations and Messages, cannot be auto configured because each NetSuite instance is unique.

Procedure

Connect your NetSuite account to Bronto by setting up a NetSuite connection.

In the Choose Your Configuration window, click Create New Fields (Auto).

The auto configuration discovery process will typically take less than two minutes. However, if you have a complex NetSuite instance, the discovery process can take up to five minutes.

The following contact fields will be created if they do not already exist.
